Oculus Rift S overview

The Oculus Rift S was a PC-tethered headset that replaced the original Rift's external sensors with built-in inside-out tracking, making setup far easier. It traded the CV1's OLED panels and 90Hz refresh for a higher-resolution single LCD at 80Hz, plus a comfortable halo strap. It needs a capable gaming PC and has since been discontinued, but remains a competent entry into wired PC VR on the second-hand market.
