Why cast?
Casting mirrors your in-headset view to a TV or phone so friends and family can watch, cheer you on, or take turns. It's also handy for recording gameplay and for helping someone new learn an app.
Cast to your phone
Open the Meta Horizon app, tap the Cast icon, choose your headset, then confirm the cast prompt inside the headset. Your phone screen now mirrors the VR view. It's the most reliable method and works anywhere.
Cast to a TV
From inside the headset, open the Camera/Share menu, select Cast, and choose a compatible Chromecast or Chromecast-enabled TV on the same Wi-Fi network. Confirm and your VR view appears on the big screen.
Troubleshooting
If casting fails, make sure the headset and target device are on the same Wi-Fi network, restart the cast, or fall back to casting through the phone app. A strong, single-band network avoids most issues.
